CPNP Compliance
Check a formula against EU CosIng. Before it reaches CPNP.
Every ingredient checked against EU CosIng Annex II-VI, with CMR substances identified by CAS or EC number — the data a CPNP frame formulation is built from, alongside 10 other markets in the same pass.
Formula in → CPNP-ready data out
One upload, checked against EU CosIng and every other market at once.
1 · Formula in
Upload the formulation
Excel, CSV, SDS, or a pasted ingredient list — the same formula a CPNP notification's frame formulation is built from.
2 · EU annex check
Checked against EU CosIng Annex II-VI
Every ingredient is checked against EU prohibited and restricted substances, and any CMR-classified substance is identified by CAS/EC number.
3 · Every other market too
All 11 markets in the same pass
The same formula is checked against the US, Canada, China, and every other covered market at the same time — not a separate EU-only exercise.
4 · Ready for notification
The data a CPNP filing needs
A checked formula with concentration ranges and flagged CMR substances — the same data a frame formulation and CPNP notification require.

What this doesn't cover
CPNP compliance also involves steps this platform doesn't handle:
- Submitting the CPNP notification itself
- Appointing or acting as the Responsible Person (RP)
- The nanomaterial module or poison-centre coordination
For the notification process itself, see the guide on CPNP notification requirements.
CPNP compliance — common questions
Does this submit my CPNP notification?
No. This checks a formula's ingredients and CMR substances against EU CosIng annexes and prepares the concentration data a CPNP notification needs — the actual submission through the Cosmetic Products Notification Portal is done separately by the Responsible Person. Our CPNP notification guide covers that process directly.
What does the EU check actually cover?
Every ingredient is checked against EU CosIng Annex II (prohibited), Annex III (restricted, with concentration and condition-of-use limits), and Annexes IV-VI (colorants, preservatives, UV filters) — plus identification of any CMR-classified substance by CAS or EC number.
Is the EU check run separately from other markets?
No — one formula is checked against the EU and 10 other markets in the same pass, returning a permitted / restricted / prohibited verdict per market.
Does this help with the frame formulation CPNP requires?
The formula data this produces — full ingredient list, concentration ranges, flagged CMR substances — is the same underlying data a frame formulation is built from. Assembling and submitting the actual CPNP notification stays a separate step, done by the Responsible Person.
